Mission Statement

"To create a policy, infrastructure and natural environment that are conducive to foreign and domestic private sector investments in tourism, and to ensure we have plenty of tourism development is well planned and managed to ensure long-term economic, environmental and social sustainability."

MIVA aims to carry out its mission by creating an economic, political and physical environment, which is conducive to private tourism investment while at the same time developing popular awareness of and support for environmental and cultural/historic preservation. MIVA recognizes the environment and culture as two pillars upon which tourism will be built.
