Laura Beach Park
 Located at the western end of Majuro is Laura Beach Park, a popular picnic site. Here you’ll find a sandy beach, picnic areas, and a fresh water shower. Visitors are recommended to rent a car to visit Laura (about 1 hour drive from town). The $1 entry fee is used for cleanup and maintenance.
 
Laura Lagoon Tours
 Snorkel over a sunken WWII bomber, or spend the day on an uninhabited island in Majuro’s secluded west side.

Marshalls Billfish Club Tournaments
About once a month, you can witness one of the more popular events on Majuro, a fishing tournament. You’ll see a variety of fish being weighed in as numerous anglers compete for the prizes. These fish include blue marlin, yellowfin tuna, skipjack, mahimahi, wahoo, barracuda, and scores of reef fish.

Mieco Beach Yacht Club
Mieco Beach Yacht Club (MYBC), on the beautiful tropical Lagoon of Majuro Atoll, offers pristine diving, snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, fishing, skiing, sailing, and power boating all within palm tree lined sandy beaches with lapping warm crystal clear ocean water.

The Club promotes yachting in the Marshall Islands with an emphasis on having fun activities both on and off the water utilizing Sponsor’s facilities at the Marshall Islands Resort (MIR) and at Hotel Robert Reimers (RRE) for meetings, docking, and MYBC entertainment
